Socorro Buerk is the Legal Assistant for Kelsey Shewbert. Socorro joined HWS Law Group in early 2026, after working as a Records Coordinator for various government agencies.

After spending most of their career in administration, Socorro made the transition to legal and public sector work in 2022, before making the decision to stay in the legal field.

Socorro is a native Seattle resident and enjoys the wide variety of amenities the Pacific Northwest has to offer. In their free time, Socorro is an avid dungeon master and enjoys hiking with their husband and dog.
