Jack Reid is an Associate Attorney at HWS Law Group, based in the firm’s Seattle office. He concentrates his practice on insurance defense and construction defect litigation, representing clients with diligence, strategic foresight, and a strong command of complex legal issues. Jack is valued for his clear communication, persuasive writing, and ability to navigate high-stakes matters with both confidence and care.
Before joining HWS, Jack served as a Peace Corps volunteer in The Gambia, West Africa. For two years, he lived and worked in a remote rural village, fully immersed in the local culture and language. As an agriculture and environment volunteer, he collaborated closely with local farmers to introduce sustainable farming practices, led irrigation and soil management workshops, and spearheaded reforestation initiatives to combat desertification. This transformative experience deepened his commitment to service, adaptability, and cross-cultural collaboration—skills that continue to inform his legal work today.
Originally from San Marino, California, Jack earned his undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University, where he studied Political Science, and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Outside of work, Jack is an avid moviegoer, a lifelong reader, and a passionate sports fan. He enjoys exploring Seattle’s vibrant neighborhoods, spending time outdoors, and keeping up with both local and international news.
