Katie Berg

Associate Attorney

Katie Berg is an associate attorney in the Portland office of HWS Law Group LLP. Her practice is focused on representing individuals and businesses in complex civil litigation, including construction litigation.

Prior to joining HWS Law Group LLP, Katie was an associate attorney at a general practice civil firm in Eugene before working as an Assistant District Attorney for Lane County. As an ADA, Katie gained valuable courtroom experience, including trying multiple jury trials solo and cases involving expert witnesses and significant pre-trial motions. Katie studied mathematics and chemistry as an undergraduate student before going to law school, and that scientific background informs her approach to interactions with expert witnesses. Katie’s comfort in the courtroom combines with these varied experiences to serve as a strong foundation to her work with HWS Law Group LLP.

Personal

A Washington native transplanted to Oregon, Katie is happiest when spending time outside with her husband and dogs or out on the soccer field.
