John Barton - Senior Associate Attorney

John Barton

Senior Associate Attorney

John is a senior associate attorney working in the Seattle office of Holt Woods & Scisciani LLP. John focuses his practice on defending individuals in vehicle accidents and property disputes across Washington State. Additionally, John works as defense counsel in uninsured and under-insured vehicle accidents.

John has defended individuals and companies at both trial and arbitration in District Court, Superior Court, Federal Court and the Court of Appeals. His practice involves defending actions ranging from minor injuries, timber trespass, adverse possession, up to wrongful death claims. He has prepared defense motions regarding sudden medical emergency, insufficient service of process and lack of negligence. John has also successfully negotiated cases involving boundary disputes, property damage and personal injury actions. John did not envision becoming a trial attorney; however, he could not imagine doing anything different now.

John likes to take a matter-of-fact approach with his clients and prides himself on being open with his clients regarding all aspects of their litigation. While each case may be a different set of facts, the approach is the same – his clients deserve a vigorous defense.
